Shares His Steps to Success
I met Armand Puyolt and his wife Esther Ramos at a Denny’s Restaurant in San Dimas, California in November 2012. It was, now that I remember, the beginning of the fall season when everything was changing colors, and I was about to change my life with TLC. He presented me the compensation plan on a yellow pad and invited me to drink the Iaso™ Tea. At that moment, I was not convinced nor impressed. To me, it just seemed like any other company with your average product trying to be pushed into the market. But I decided to stay and continue listening to Armand and his wife.

What really got me was the refreshing simplicity, yet effective way in which Armand Puyolt presented it to me (which in my own mind created a picture of what could be done if I decided to join). Above all, his initial impression allowed me see how different he was from all the other leaders, owners, CEO’s, etc. that I have had met before in my career. I felt that both, Armand and Esther, had a very different perspective of approaching people. It felt like something new and fresh.
At that time I was already involved in a “coffee company”. I was fully embedded in my career. I earned a college education, I had 22 years of experience in the MLM industry (a CEO of one company and Master Distributor in another) and somehow it clouded my mind from seeing the true potential behind this excellent company, Total Life Changes. But at the same time, the very same professional experience kept telling me in the back of my mind that Mr. Puyolt had presented me with something totally new and revolutionary. But at that moment I just couldn’t come to terms of dedicating 100% of my time to TLC. So, I decided to join, but also to leave a door open.
Months went by and it was not until I was invited to join a meeting in El Monte, California that Armand Puyolt invited me again to drink an already made cup of Iaso™ Tea. Within the hour it made a unique reaction that was good for my urinary track. Impressed by the reaction in my body that night, I decided to make a fresh gallon of the Iaso™ tea for the first time. From that day on my whole family is drinking Iaso™ Tea. And when I say my whole family, I mean my whole family! My parents, sister, nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends, and church members have been drinking Iaso™ Tea for about 22 months. As I learned more about the company and their merchandise, I started using all the other amazing products such as Nutraburst, Techui, Ganoderma Lucidum, amongst others that started to change our lives little by little. The name of the company, Total Life Changes, became true within our lives. I will always tell people anywhere I present that the TLC opportunity that we represent holds such power in its name. As you can see in my life and every person in my organization that had encountered TLC, the first and most important part of our business is to have your own testimonial of our wonderful product. This empowers anyone to talk about the business; in fact, you must become a product of the product. This gives you the authority to talk about any aspect of your TLC business….that was exactly what Armand and Esther were representing when they first met me, a new fresh way to see this beautiful and rewarding industry of MLM; “products that work today, not tomorrow, not in three months,” as our Master Distributor Armand Puyolt teaches to the whole down line. Later, when it came to the compensation, Armand and I spent hours during nights discussing what he, Jack Fallon, Esther Ramos, Ada Caballero, Patty Estrada and others already understood. I was having problems understanding that TLC is a company that is different from any other company out there in the market. Armand had taught everyone including me, that this company had made a fusion of a powerful MLM system with a traditional business through a Hybrid Binary System. The TLC compensation plan allows anyone to make money today, not tomorrow, not in three months; just like our products that are making our company the best company in the world, “Bringing Real Results.”
I also want to give credit and my deepest feelings of gratitude to an excellent corporate team, CEO Jack Fallon, who is one excellent leader and human being, Rosa Armenta, Jorge Olarte, The Iaso™ Boys in Mexico, Bolo Enriquez in Colombia, all of customer service in Michigan and every other member of this excellent company around the world.
I want to especially give thanks to the corporate team “The Super Iaso™ Boys” Isai, Neftaly and Chris in Fontana, California for their excellent professionalism and hard work in helping me input around 300 new members in the last three weeks. But if you were to ask me what or who has been the influence in my triumph so far in my business, my answer is without hesitation and with the deepest admiration and appreciation to Armand Puyolt and Esther Ramos. From them, I acquired the love to help others. I now have the knowledge of our wonderful line of products and the power they have to change your life. I now have humility. I accept my position of empowerment. My main goal is to provide real changes to the lives of everyone around the world, without caring what level of social status, race, creed, or sex.

TLC: Hello Maria, and thank you for taking the time to sit down with Team TLC Marketing today. We would like to share your success with other reps and leaders in the industry. So please tell me when did you first get involved in Total Life Changes and was that initial experience like for you?
MM: I joined TLC in October 2012. At first, I was only interested in the Iaso™ Tea for detox; but then, my sponsor explained to me the compensation plan. The compensation plan grabbed my attention, especially when I learned that the company pays 50% fast-start-bonus, and also the 50% matching bonus. Instantly, I decided to verify the 50% commission of enrolling people.
I enrolled four people my first day; the outcome of the work I put in was inconceivable; the fact that such simple work allowed me to receive a paycheck of $400. It took only an hour of work to enroll four people. With the results of my first paycheck, it motivated me to consider TLC as my profession and I continued to work the replication process.
TLC: What challenges did you face when first entering the company and how did you plan for overcoming them?
Maria Miranda- TLC Independent Business OwnerMM: After three months of working in TLC, I was notified that I was expecting a baby. So I realized that having the baby would consume the majority of my time; therefore, I decided to put extra effort into the business before I delivered my baby because I had goals to meet. However, what devastated me the most was that I received news from the doctor that my baby was going to be born with some health problems. This news greatly impacted my career with TLC and obviously my personal life as well. At one point, I was thinking about quitting my TLC business because of the problems that I endured during my pregnancy. I received much support from my TLC family and I did not let these issues beat me. I refused to give up even when the odds were stacked against me. Thank God, after I gave birth, my baby was born healthy and my career continued to rise.
TLC: What would be your top three suggestions or recommendations for new affiliates just entering the company and hungry for success?
MM: My recommendations for new affiliates entering the company are to always aim for higher goals, maintain focus, and help your team in order to bring success in your career.
TLC: TLC is a company dedicated to impacting the health and the wealth of families all over the world. Can you talk about some of the peoples’ lives that you have personally impacted within your TLC business.
MM: TLC is impacting the health and wealth of many across the world. For instance, my mother (Martha Juarez) does not use medication for diabetes thanks to the products from TLC. It is impacting the economic life of Cirila Ramirez, earning a respectable amount of money weekly. She does not drive, she is more than fifty years of age, and she is homeowner. Thanks to the business opportunity from TLC, it has made a sensational change in her life.
TLC: You spoke about setting high expectations and goals for yourself. This is obviously something most successful business owners do all the time. What are some of your current goals for success in Total Life Changes?
MM: Right now, I’m doing well with my TLC business and my focus is helping other families meet their goals of being financially independent. I introduce our Iaso™ Tea and nutritional products to many, many people. I discuss the testimonials that I have witnesses first hand. I encourage others to listen in on many of the live calls to fully understand our product line and how to use these products to improve their health and their wealth.

Are busier than ever, closing out the Summer months with Record Breaking Numbers of Volume. The Fontana Office Employees have been busting out 16 hour days just to keep up with product orders and the number of new applications that continue to roll in. TLC‘s Master Distributer, Armand Puyolt, explained to Team TLC Marketing earlier, “All of these new applications have come in with more than $100 in product purchases. This means that these new partners are ready, my friends. They are ready to join this Revolution and take TLC to New Heights. Our office employees have been working some days from 10 am to 2 am just to keep up with the number of new orders. This is great news for our West Coast Office.”
Gonzalo J. Belloso is a TLC National Director. He has been a former Master Distributor with two other MLM companies, but he has found a very comfortable home here with TLC. He is well-known for his approach to prospecting and recruiting, but more importantly, his dedication to his personally sponsored members is resilient. John Licari TLC ThailandThis past week, John Licari, from TLC Headquarters in Ira, Michigan, traveled halfway around the world to meet & greet many of Thailand’s influential visionaries and welcome them to Team TLC. After several months of preparation and hard work from both parties, it is now official; Thailand has their MLM business license and looks forward to a long-lasting relationship with TLC for consumer sales and distributor growth.
